28 York Place Hotel Edinburgh

Lovely, original features in a former Georgian townhouse. My room had a large window overlooking York Place, a comfortable double bed, and an en-suite bathroom. The shower was superb and the whole bathroom was clean. The location is excellent, right next to the last tram stop and not too far from Princes Street and the Royal Mile. The staff were nice and went out of their way to accommodate my requests. I highly recommend this hotel.

Impeccable rooms with large and comfy bed, stunning city and water views, exceptional bathroom with rain shower and spacious tub. Helpful and friendly staff, provided useful directions and assisted with parking. Planning future stays, highly recommend.

The hotel is conveniently located just next to the Bus Station, which made it easy for us to catch the hop-on-hop-off bus. it is right beside the tram stop from the airport, which was very convenient for us. The hotel is also close to all the main sights and near the city centre. The room was clean and comfortable, with a comfortable bed and a great shower in the super clean bathroom. The staff were very helpful and friendly, arranging taxis for us and filling our ice bucket. We also enjoyed the delicious breakfast and the stunning views at the back of the hotel.

One suggestion for improvement would be to install safety bars around the tub as it was challenging to climb over without a rail.

This hotel exceeds expectations. The value for money is fantastic, especially considering the prime location right behind the bus station. The rooms are spacious and comfortable, with huge beds and stunning views over the city to the sea. The staff are attentive and provide excellent service, ensuring a memorable stay. The breakfast options are varied and delicious, providing a great start to the day.

No major issues, everything was up to par.

We had a romantic escape at this hotel and there were a few positive aspects. the staff were friendly and helpful, always going above and beyond to ensure we had a great stay. the location was ideal, close to all the key attractions and within walking distance of great restaurants and shops. Lastly, we really enjoyed the complimentary breakfast with a good variety of options to choose from.

There were a few negative aspects that affected our overall experience. the bedroom was quite small, feel a bit cramped.

I had a fantastic stay at this hotel. The location was perfect for exploring the city, as it was so close to the city center and right across from the bus station, making it convenient for getting around. The fact that it was also quite close to the York Place tram station and near the train station was a bonus. The hotel facilities were great, with asuper clean and cozy room that had instant hot water at all times. The breakfast was delicious and freshly cooked every morning.

As trekkers and a group of friends, we loved the convenience of having a grocery store and breakfast place nearby. The staff was kind, professional, and always willing to help. The hotel offered a nice bar and a delicious breakfast option. The room was beautiful, comfortable, and had a great view. It was also easy to reach from the train station. We would definitely stay here again!
